Mercedes-Benz Charging Network

One of the perks of owning an electric car or SUV, like a Mercedes EQS sedan or an impressive Mercedes EQE SUV, is the lower refueling costs. When you charge at home, electricity costs are much less than gasoline. But what happens when you travel far from your Kettering home? You can utilize public charging stations along your route. But not all EV chargers are the same, which is why this automaker is installing its own Mercedes-Benz Charging Network to help drivers with the public charging infrastructure they need to go to new places outside of Springboro.

Find everything out with our detailed guide to the Mercedes-Benz Charging Network below!

What Is the Mercedes-Benz Charging Network?

When you go to some public charging stations, you have to wait in your vehicle while the station recharges your EV. Not so with the Mercedes-Benz Charging Network. This high-power network will have charging lounges open to all drivers who need a lot of power for their EV batteries. But Mercedes-Benz owners get some exclusive benefits, which we’ll discuss later.

The manufacturer plans to install 2,500 high-powered chargers in 400 charging hubs (or stations) in North America by 2027. Drivers can expect them to be situated in strategic urban and population centers, including some near Centerville. You will find them along major routes and at select Mercedes-Benz dealerships.

What Does the Mercedes-Benz Charging Network Deliver?

As one of the fastest networks in America, you’ll get up to 400 kW of power at every charger. You could get up to 62 miles of charge in just three minutes with a 400 kW charger! You’ll be on your way in no time.

Retail partners will offer convenience amenities like refreshments, driver benefits, and perks, like convenience stores in front of gas stations. Mercedes-Benz drivers receive exclusive benefits, including automated charger reservations and Plug and Charge, for seamless travel from point A to B, thanks to the Mercedes Me app.

Your vehicle’s navigation system automatically plans your route based on available EV charging stations. It will automatically reserve a spot for you at the hub you need in the Mercedes-Benz Charging Network.
